Key Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with a holistic approach to healing.
Provide safe and effective clinical practice, understanding the needs of both patients and their families.
Coordinate care by integrating your knowledge, skills, and experiences to improve patient outcomes and provide educational support.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members across disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
Utilize care standards, guidelines, and pathways to guide decision-making and patient care delivery.
Demonstrate leadership skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and team coordination.

Additional Requirements:

Work Schedule: Full-time, with 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.). Availability to work one major and one minor holiday, as well as 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.
Education: BSN from an accredited nursing program or an Associate Degree RN currently working towards a BSN within one year.
Experience: Minimum of one year of RN clinical experience in an acute care setting (Two years of recent experience in an inpatient Postpartum Unit, including charge nurse experience, is highly preferred).
Licensure: Active RN license in the state of Virginia or a multi-state RN license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). Current BLS certification required at the time of hire.
Specialty Certification: Must obtain relevant specialty certification within one year of hire and complete Charge Nurse training within the first 90 days.
