common goal of having the most helpful store in the industry! This Ace Hardware
is located near San Francisco, California in the Delta region and generates
approximately 8 million in revenue with 50 employee associates. Brentwood Ace Hardware takes pride in
building relationships with our customers through our knowledgeable sales staff
and first class Customer Service.
Benefits: the Full Time Employee (when vested) will accrue
Paid Time Off based on an hourly formula.
FT Employees may also subscribe to medical, dental, and vision packages
offered, plus supplemental insurance packages, and a 401K plan, if
qualified.
Part Time Employees (when vested) will accrue Paid Time Off
based on an hourly formula.
The primary responsibility of the Cashier position is to
provide helpful customer service, process sales transactions quickly,
accurately, and efficiently, and be proficient with Point of Sale (POS)
register operations.
The Cashier is expected to:
• Positively represent Brentwood Ace Hardware through excellent Customer Service
• Present a pleasant and professional appearance based on Ace standards
• Greet each customer as they enter the store
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Be pleasant and tactful with each customer interaction
• Promote Ace Rewards Program
• Be aware and knowledgeable of all store promotions, advertisings, and sales
• Show proficiency and accuracy with money handling and cash transactions
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers accurately
• Help maintain product/merchandise and cleanliness in the register area
• Be proficient with the POS program system
• Accurately report/deposit daily sales
• Have a general knowledge of product locations in store

• Ability to stand and move for an extended period of time
