Are you a dynamic and experienced Surgical Services RN Leader looking for a Leadership role as an RN Director Perioperative Services? Located in a growing and picturesque Southeastern region of Georgia, we are seeking a dedicated RN Director Perioperative Services to oversee and manage all aspects of the Surgical department, including patient care, staff management, and operational excellence.
As the RN Director Perioperative Services, you will be Leading within a respected, community-focused healthcare facility known for delivering comprehensive, high-quality care. The hospital is committed to providing compassionate service to patients and their families. The Perioperative Services department plays a vital role in the hospital’s success, offering critical support across a wide range of specialties to meet the diverse needs of ptients.
With the support of Surgical Management, the RN Director Perioperative Services will report directly to the Executive Director of Nursing and collaborate with the Surgical team, Anesthesia providers, and Administrative Leadership to achieve operational and clinical goals.
The RN Director Perioperative Services handles a wide variety of procedures, including General surgery, Robotics, Orthopedic surgery (total joints, sports medicine, spine, hand/upper extremity, foot/ankle), Ophthalmology, Gynecology, pain management, and Gastrointestinal procedures. The Director manages multiple Operating Rooms, performing an average of 150+ cases per month, as well as a Gastrointestinal Suite. With a team of 20+ FTEs, the RN Director Perioperative Services ensures efficient operations fostering a collaborative, fast-paced environment, focusing on providing exceptional care and ensuring patient safety from pre-operative through post-operative care.
In addition to overseeing daily operations, the RN Director Perioperative Services will manage patient care and staff, providing Leadership to OR Nurses, OR Technicians, and other Perioperative Surgical personnel. The Director will foster a collaborative environment while developing and implementing policies, procedures, and protocols that align with best practices and regulatory standards. Coordination with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and other Healthcare professionals will be essential to deliver comprehensive, high-quality Perioperative care.
