Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an SAP ABAP developer for a Contract with a client in Loveland, CO(Remote). The ideal candidate will analyze and optimise ABAP programs and design HANA-optimized solutions to ensure high performance and scalability.

Rate Range: $63/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SAP ABAP Developer job responsibilities include:

• Analyze and optimize ABAP programs, reports, and function modules for performance using tools like ST05, SAT, and HANA PlanViz.

• Design and implement HANA-optimized solutions leveraging AMDP, SQLScript, CDS views, and table functions.

• Develop and maintain ABAP objects including ALV reports, SMART Forms, BAPIs, BADIs, IDOCs, and workflows.

• Implement parallel processing techniques such as background jobs, asynchronous RFCs, and parallel cursors to improve runtime efficiency.

• Support migration of legacy ABAP code to S/4HANA optimized design and collaborate with Basis and functional teams to resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Participate in full-cycle SAP implementations, enhancements, and upgrades while ensuring adherence to best practices and governance standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 8–10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and performance optimization.

• Strong expertise in SAP HANA S/4 systems, including ABAP code optimization, CDS views, AMDP, and parallel processing techniques.

• Proven experience with full-cycle SAP implementations, advanced debugging, and performance tuning using tools like ST05, SAT, and HANA PlanViz.

Pay Details: $63.00 to $68.00 per hour
