Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. We are only looking for individuals who possess a security guard license.
In particular, we are urgently hiring a security guard to work our weekly Monday night events from 5-9pm ET. This will be an active event where we care about our brand so be ready to say hi, ask people to sign in, be paying attention, and be overall awesome and friendly!
If this event goes well, we have events just like it 2-3 times a week. They're all during weeknight evenings and can range from 2-4 hours long. These are tech networking events in an office space that will be well-attended. We do not have any security equipment to maintain and this will entail working the door. You'll be the only security professional on the premises.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or a related field
Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and regulations
Military or security-related certification is required
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
$18.00 – $25.00 per hour
