Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:

Senior Linux System Administrator
Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Compensation: Competitive, Excellent Benefits

You will apply creative solutions to complex and often difficult technical and operational problems. The positions requires professional services and technical support in a wide range of areas: computer systems, network communications, forensics skills and various aspects of computer technology. As a member of a multi-discipline team, you will utilize your creative problem solving skills to find unconventional technical solutions to challenging on-going operational requirements in non-traditional environments. 

The appropriate candidate should have experience with the following:
  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance
  • 15+ years of demonstrated experience as a Systems Engineer/Linux Systems Administrator focusing on Linux systems, specifically within the federal government environments.
  • Experience in automating instillation, monitoring, and executing tasks using Linux scripting or Python, as well as extensive experience with open-source technologies and systems/engineering architecture.
  • Experience working with Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies, and development of technical documentation and briefing materials to support program status reviews, control gates and other presentations.
  • Experience evaluating and installing patches and resolving software-related problems.
  • Experience with Linux Distros - Rocky Linux, Unbuntu, and experience running/updating REPO's, as well as centralized authentication, auditing, logging, and backups.
  • Experience with centralized authentication, auditing, logging, and backups.
  • Experience with Cron, iptables, and permissions.
  • Experience with OpenVPN SELinux, NFS, and CIFS.
