Position Description

Join our Technology and Innovation group as a Software Development Intern and contribute to impactful projects that drive real-world value. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and architects, gaining hands-on experience in modern software development practices while exploring the broader technology landscape through structured shadowing opportunities.

Position Details

This internship offers an 8-5pm work onsite at our corporate headquarters in Omaha, NE - Monday through Thursday with a remote work option on Fridays. The timeframe for the internship is May – August 2026.

 

Please note: Only candidates currently residing in the surrounding Omaha area will be considered for this opportunity.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead a capstone project focused on re-imagining the UI of an important internal software tool. 
  • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and test user interfaces and workflows. 
  • Participate in weekly shadowing sessions with different teams to gain exposure to various roles and technologies. 
  • Assist in documenting processes, tools, and learnings for future reference. 
  • Present project outcomes and insights at the end of the internship. 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Experience Visual Studio, .NET, and C# 
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development practices. 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
