The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer/Administrator with expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the banking or credit union domain, focusing on implementing end-to-end Salesforce solutions that enhance customer engagement, improve operational efficiency, and meet specific industry requirements. This role will involve gathering business requirements, designing and deploying Salesforce solutions, and supporting cross-functional teams to drive customer success.

Role and Responsibilities

Salesforce Development/Administration

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages, and integrate with external systems.

  • Implement and configure Salesforce Marketing Cloud features such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Audience Segmentation, and Automation Studio to deliver personalized marketing campaigns.

  • Implement Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, including case management, service console, knowledge base, and omnichannel support, to optimize customer service workflows.

  • Configure and implement Salesforce Financial Services Cloud for client relationship management, financial planning, and account management to meet the unique needs of financial institutions.

  • Develop custom APIs and integrations with third-party platforms, such as banking applications, data warehouses, and marketing tool.

Domain-Specific Expertise

  • Leverage knowledge of banking/credit union operations to design Salesforce solutions for customer onboarding, financial planning, account management, and compliance.

  • Work with business stakeholders to configure Salesforce Marketing Cloud for targeted marketing campaigns, lead nurturing, and customer segmentation.

  • Use Salesforce Service Cloud to configure case management processes, service automation, and self-service portals, improving customer support and reducing resolution times.

  • Configure Salesforce Financial Services Cloud for managing complex financial profiles, client portfolios, and wealth management processes, enabling better customer engagement in financial services.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and CCPA.

  • Create custom dashboards and reports in Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud to track KPIs and gain insights into customer behavior, service performance, and marketing ROI.

  • Manage data migration and optimization, ensuring smooth data flows between Salesforce clouds and external systems.

Training and Collaboration

  • Provide training and support to business users to enhance adoption and effective use of Salesforce tools.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, service, and IT, to align Salesforce solutions with business objectives and improve customer experience and satisfaction.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Perform other duties commensurate to this position.

Who Are You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer/Analyst with expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud features, including case management, knowledge base, service console, and omnichannel support.

  • Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including tools like Journey Builder, Email Studio, Audience Segmentation, and reporting.

  • In-depth experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud configuration, including client profiles, financial planning, and account management.

  • Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools, or middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).

  • Familiarity with banking/credit union operations, including regulatory compliance, customer lifecycle management, and financial services processes. Familiarity with Corelation (Keystone) banking Core is a plus.

  • Must be self-motivated with exceptional time management, organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Must have well developed analytical and problem-solving skills; solve problems as they occur and escalate as needed.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills, ability to motivate and direct work through the efforts of others, discuss problems and solutions with all levels of staff and management, and be approachable to the team.

  • Must have exceptional written and verbal communication.

  • Familiarity with Meridian Link mortgage system is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Developer, Service Cloud Consultant, Financial Services Cloud Consultant).

  • Experience with SQL, AMPscript, or other scripting languages for Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.

  • Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements in the financial industry, particularly within Salesforce CRM.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, ensuring timely delivery.

  • Strong collaboration skills with a client-focused approach, working effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
