A well-established bookkeeping service in the Irvine, CA area (near John Wayne Airport) is seeking a Staff Accountant or Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join the team on a temporary-to-hire basis. Flexible Start Time: Choose between 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM (Monday - Friday) and enjoy a full 8-hour workday.
Background Check Required: A standard pre-employment background check will be completed before the start date.

### What You'll Do
As part of the team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality bookkeeping services to clients. Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
✅ Reviewing and coding transactions in the QuickBooks bank feed
✅ Posting journal entries and handling payroll processing
✅ Preparing and analyzing financial statements, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
✅ Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
✅ Ensuring accuracy in the chart of accounts

### What We're Looking For
We are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in QuickBooks Online. Ideal qualifications include:

Staff Accountant: Up to $30/hr - Requires at least 5 years of experience
Full-Charge Bookkeeper: Up to $28/hr - Requires 3-5 years of experience
Entry-Level Candidates: Up to $25/hr - Must have a BA in Accounting and at least 1 year of work experience

### Key Skills & Experience
✔ QuickBooks Online proficiency is a MUST
✔ Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
✔ Experience with accounts payable and receivable
✔ Ability to effectively manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
