Private family in Bridgehampton, NY is looking to hire a Live-in Nanny for the summer (now - Labor Day) for their 13-year old son. The second son comes home from overnight camp in a few weeks and will only need help driving him to activities...the position is supporting the one son who is home for the summer and is day camp.
Responsibilities: 1-Help doing light housekeeping: laundry, bed linens, unpack groceries, and kitchen cleaning (they have a weekly cleaner) 2- Can drive to pick up their son or pick up groceries, they have a car for you to use. 3- Help with their 13 year old son who has a disability. He uses a walker to assist him, he is a very happy social boy. He loves to be engaged and keep busy with games, or going to lunch. There is no heavy lifting involved. The house is set up so he can get around. Just help with putting his walker in the shower so he can transition in and out on his own. Also needs help towards the end of the day putting his orthotics on and off. He is in camp from 9 to 3 daily. 4- Some days will be very quiet, so she could walk the dog or just rest. Most activity is after 3, or before 9. 5- Can help out with dishes and prep when I'm hosting people.
