POSITION: Tax Manager

LOCATION: Cape Coral, FL

WORK TYPE: Full-time, on-site

Our client is a well-established accounting firm located in sunny Cape Coral, Florida. With two offices in Florida, they have been successfully serving clients for over 25 years. Please note that this position is full-time, onsite. There is no remote or hybrid work offering for this role.

Responsibilities :

• Review and prepare corporate financial statements and tax returns (personal returns as needed)
• File payroll and sales tax returns
• Assist clients in resolving tax issues with the IRS
• Support and mentor mid-level staff
• Work additional hours during tax season to meet filing deadlines

Requirements :

• CPA or EA license (Florida preferred but not required)
• 7+ years of tax preparation experience
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Prior experience working at a CPA firm is required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. No visa sponsorship is provided for this position.
