How You’ll Contribute:

Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Tax Senior with Private Equity industry experienc e to join our dynamic Tax Advisory Services team. This important role includes technical tax compliance and consulting work:

• Review complex tax returns for private equity funds
• Ability to analyze client’s financial activity
• Perform self-review of source data, correct calculations, presentation, and accuracy
• Proactively assist Managers with interacting with key client management to gather information, resolve tax-related issues, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
• Assist in training and mentoring interns and staff
• Resolve minor issues directly with the IRS and other tax authorities
• Dedicate time to professional development and business development activities
• Working knowledge of tax applications like Go-Systems & K-1 Suite
• Comply with and implement KR's global compliance process

Requirements

What Skills You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of strong tax compliance and research background, specific to Private Equity clients
• Masters in Accounting/Taxation or equivalent
• CPA eligibility
• Public accounting experience required
• Strong team player with a commitment to high-quality, detailed work
• Strong data skills

• Self-starter with ability to deal with multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime during peak times
