Agile Project Manager / Senior Scrum Master
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office) - Deerfield Beach, FL
Type: Contract

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Project Manager / Senior Scrum Master with a  strong background in Agile methodologies and experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing project financials and be willing to work
in a hybrid environment.

Project Overview: This role involves leading an enterprise-wide initiative to migrate applications from  AWS to Azure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition,  leveraging their expertise in cloud technologies and Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Leadership: Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
• Financial Management: Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Cloud Technology: Utilize knowledge of Azure or general cloud technologies to guide project development and deployment.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues.
• Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, ensuring team members are motivated and aligned with project goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and project outcomes.
• Agile Coaching: Work with team members who are not completely familiar with Agile methodologies, providing guidance, training, and support to help them understand and adopt Agile practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business  Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile project management or as a Scrum Master.
• Experience with Azure or general cloud technologies.
• Proven experience in managing project financials.

Certifications:

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Ability to coach and mentor team members new to Agile practices.
