Technical Scrum Master / Agile Lead

Wilmington (Delaware), New Jersey

The Technical Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating and managing the execution of technical data warehouse (DW) projects within an agile framework. Key responsibilities include:

• Guiding cross-functional technical teams through agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
• Removing impediments and addressing blockers that hinder the team's progress, enabling focused and continuous delivery of DW solutions.
• Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Program Managers, and technical leads to ensure a clear understanding of project goals, priorities, and requirements.
• Promoting agile best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability within all technical teams.
• Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders to maintain alignment and manage dependencies across multiple technical DW projects.
• Drive Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Ensure cross-team alignment, backlog prioritization, and velocity tracking.
• Tracking and reporting team velocity, sprint progress, and impediments using project management tools such as Clarity and Jira to support data-driven decision-making and optimize delivery timelines.
• Supporting the adoption and integration of cloud data warehouse technologies, ensuring that agile processes complement technical complexities inherent in DW projects on platforms like Google Cloud.
