This assignment is a temporary position. The contractor shall provide Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to sustain the Stryker vehicle system to the United States 4th Infantry Division at Ft Carson, CO, and other locations.

Responsibilities to Anticipate for this role The contractor shall provide Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to sustain the Stryker vehicle system to the United States Army (U.S. Army), 4th Infantry Division, at Fort Carson, Colorado and Ft. Irwin, California.
- The FSR shall be a subject matter expert on the Stryker FOV.
- The FSR shall act as a liaison to the U.S. Army and other Government agencies.
- FSR shall explain all vehicle changes to unit personnel.
- Monitor and maintain configuration management for Stryker variant of vehicles.
- Set priority of effort for assigned Stryker platforms for unscheduled maintenance, scheduled maintenance and repair parts processing.
- Use skills, abilities, and workload demands to set mission priorities.
- Conduct hands on training or sustainment training program for General Dynamics Land Systems mechanics and United States Army Mechanics, Operators or Leaders.
- Oversee and assist with preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on all Stryker variants to include sub-components and LRUs pertaining to the Stryker Platform.
- Oversee and troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in automotive systems (full up power-pack FUPP (engine, transmission, cooling), fuel, exhaust, driveline and suspension ) using built in test equipment (BITE), test equipment and/or manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), common and special tools and applicable technical documentation.
- Complete maintenance and administrative forms and other paperwork (reports) related to performance of duties.
- Provide property accountability for all assigned property. Assistance for property accountability where needed.
- Provide assistance and mentorship to welding procedures based on company guidelines.
- Perform all duties in accordance with ISO processes.
- Perform duties as site Field Representative; Environmental, Hazmat, Safety, Fire prevention and administrative functions.
Qualifications Sought :
- Six (6) to 9 years of related work experience. (Equivalent military service acceptable).
- Ability to acquire U.S. Passport within 90 days of hiring.
- Stryker Vehicle experience preferred.
- Military school trained wheel vehicle mechanic (such as US Army MOSs 91B, 91S, 91A, 91P or 91M or USMC MOSs 2147, 3521, 3522, 3524) preferred. Documented commercial training and/or experience acceptable. Field experience preferred.
- Completion of High School / GED required, Associate degree preferred or equivalent technical certification.
- Read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures and flow diagrams for systems, subsystems and components.
- Travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice to support contingency operations.
- Work in improved and unimproved maintenance facilities, as well as other field environment and work duty locations as required.
- Occasional work in confined space within vehicle interior.
- Potential for exposure to temperature extremes in performance of duties.
- Physical requirements: Must pass and maintain company deployment requirements.
- Meet and maintain requirements of SP 2-644 .
- Dexterity in fingers of both hands.
- Carry 70 lbs. (tool box or parts) up to 50'.
- Multicultural work experience preferred.
- Administrative and office skills required (Microsoft Office, EXCEL and Power Point).
- Supply experience in property.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain successful NACI background for CAC (Common Access Card).
- Must be certified Stryker FSR or successfully complete Stryker FSR Academy.
Must be a U.S. person. - Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed.
Additional Information / Desired Experience Occasional travel to test sites may be required.
Must be able to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime as required
