Job Summary / General Description

A Chem-Tech Solutions delivery team member is responsible for transporting and offloading industrial cleaning products, including filling mini-bulk, while providing professional customer service to all customers. This is accomplished by appropriately using company vehicles and equipment to deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner throughout the SE region (including but not limited to FL, VA, NC, TN, GA, SC.) Deliveries will be Monday- Friday. Overnight travel may be required (expenses covered.) Delivery team members provide exceptional customer service utilizing a positive team approach for daily challenges in exceeding external and internal customer expectations. Ideal candidate performs product delivery, accessing and performing onsite equipment maintenance, customer service, and production/warehouse functions each day, depending on the areas of need.

  • Weekly pay rate at time of going permanent at CTS - $29.00 per hour (time and a half rates not applied to driver position)
  • Uniform & safety equipment provided at no cost

  • DOT physical & CDL license with applicable endorsements paid by company
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • All applicants must possess a Class A CDL in good standing
  • All applicants must possess or obtain a haz-mat and tanker endorsement
  • Verifiable 9 months CDL Class A 
  • Must have fewer than two (2) moving violations withing the past three (3) years
  • NO DWI/DUI violations withing the past seven (7) years
  • Mechanical background preferred but not required 
  • Employment offer is conditional based on satisfactory MVR, DOT physical, drug screen, background check, and prior employment DOT required checks
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic 
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Execute  non-compete and non-disclosure agreement
Essential Duties, Skills, and Responsibilities 
  • Team player & positive attitude
  • Perform customer visits for service needs and safely work in production & warehouse areas
  • Safely operate commercial motor vehicles ranging from straight trucks to tractor trailers
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday-Friday, including early morning start times or other times as necessary
  • Deliver and unload Chem-Tech Solutions products in a safe manner
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships
