Key Responsibilities:

• Threat Assessment and Mitigation: Assist in conducting ongoing risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats. Support the implementation of proactive security measures to reduce risks effectively, including identifying potential transportation and route security challenges.
• Advance Work and Route Planning: Contribute to site reconnaissance, detailed route planning, and logistics coordination to ensure smooth and secure transitions between locations. Support the team by gathering relevant information, coordinating with venues and vendors, and preparing logistics to meet client needs.
• Surveillance, Monitoring, and Close Protection: Monitor surroundings for suspicious activities or potential risks. Provide discreet personal and close protection for clients, reporting findings promptly and supporting preemptive actions to ensure their safety and security.
• Driving and Secure Transportation: Provide safe and efficient transportation for clients, ensuring secure travel by implementing detailed route planning and mitigating risks during transit. Maintain readiness to adapt routes as needed based on situational awareness.
• Emergency Response and Incident Management: Support lead personnel in responding to security breaches, medical emergencies, or active threats. Assist in communication, maintain composure, and ensure calm, orderly responses during high-pressure situations.
• Emergency Response Coordination: Act as a supporting team member during emergencies, assisting with evacuation procedures and following tactical plans to safeguard clients and assets effectively.
• Manage and Support Security Operations: Assist in managing on-site security needs, including monitoring access points, securing venues, and coordinating with vendors. Provide logistical and operational support during events or in high-risk locations.
• Collaboration with Law Enforcement and Stakeholders: Support collaboration efforts with local authorities, venue staff, and vendors by relaying critical information and assisting lead personnel in ensuring a coordinated response during complex scenarios.
• Confidentiality and Discretion: When handling sensitive client information, maintain the highest standards of privacy and professionalism. Support efforts to ensure the confidentiality and protection of clients in all interactions.
• Team Collaboration and Coordination: Work collaboratively with other security personnel, operational teams, and law enforcement to provide seamless and comprehensive security coverage. Contribute effectively by following instructions from lead personnel and supporting team objectives.

 
Required Qualifications:

• Experience : Minimum of 4+ years in relevant military, law enforcement, executive protection, or personal security roles.
• Certifications :
• BSIS Guard Card
• Appropriate Use of Force Certification
• Powers to Arrest Certification
• First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification for Adults, Children, and Infants
• Advanced Certifications : Preferred certifications in executive protection.
• Risk and Threat Management : Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, threat mitigation, defensive tactics, and situational awareness to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Conflict Resolution and De-escalation : Proven proficiency in conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and emergency response, with a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Physical and Mental Readiness : High physical fitness, mental resilience, and the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication for transparent reporting and effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Reporting Proficiency : Demonstrated skill in creating thorough, accurate reports to document incidents, observations, and activities that support client needs.
• Professionalism and Integrity : Impeccable discretion, confidentiality, and integrity when handling sensitive information and working with high-profile clients.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

• Knowledge of Local Laws and Regulations : Comprehensive understanding of California laws governing private security and firearms use, ensuring compliance in all operations.
• Prior Law Enforcement and/or Military Experience : Extensive background in law enforcement or military service, providing a solid foundation in security protocols, tactical operations, and disciplined conduct.
• Advanced Training : Proficiency in advanced work, defensive driving, and emergency medical response, including certifications such as Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) for handling on-site medical emergencies.
• Emotional Intelligence : Ability to remain composed, empathetic, and effective in high-stress situations, maintaining clear and professional communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Cultural Sensitivity : Awareness and respect for different cultural backgrounds, ensuring all interactions are appropriate, professional, and respectful.
• Technological Proficiency : Skilled in using security technologies such as surveillance systems, sensors, alarms, and communication tools to enhance protection and situational awareness.
• Adaptability : Flexibility to adjust to unpredictable schedules, changing environments, and unexpected events while maintaining consistent performance and readiness.
• Discretion and Confidentiality : Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive personal, family, or client information.
