Job Description:

Under the direction of the owner, this role supervises and coordinates all farming activities for the vineyards. This includes the execution of general vineyard management work requiring broad skills in the areas of prunning, irrigation, weed control, chemical applicatons, disease and pest control, canopy management and harvest.

The vineyard manager oversees the day to day operations of the 40 acrew estate vineyard in Sonoma Valley (Moon Mountain District).

Key Responsibilities:
Vineyard Operations Management
Work with vineyard consultant
Hire and manage workers
Hands on moderate physical work
Oversee and manage all vineyard tasks
Monitor Vine Health
Maintain and Repair vineyard infrastructure such as irrigation systems, trellises, and equipment
Ensure all vineyard activities adhere to safety standards
Maintan and service all equipment
Keep accurate records
Takes on special projects on property
Maintains vineyard cleanliness, including the entire ranch.
