Job Title : Virtual Court Reporter

Accurately record and transcribe Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) virtual hearings for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Deliver high-quality, verbatim transcripts in electronic/PDF format with mini-scripts within 10 business days post-hearing.
Maintain compliance with federal guidelines, including IRS privacy and security protocols for sensitive information.
Ensure all transcripts meet the standards specified in the contract and maintain proper formatting and accuracy.
Collaborate with hearing participants to resolve speaker identification or technical challenges during proceedings.

Valid certification or licensure as a Court Reporter.
Demonstrated experience in court reporting, particularly for federal government agencies or legal proceedings.
Proficiency in using transcription software and remote video conferencing tools for virtual hearings.
Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with IRS privacy regulations and handling of sensitive but unclassified (SBU) information, or willingness to undergo training.
Reliable internet connection and secure home office setup for virtual work.
