Location:   Various locations across Nevada

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to support the organization’s programs and events. This role involves ensuring that volunteers have a positive and meaningful experience while contributing to the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement volunteer recruitment and retention strategies.
• Coordinate volunteer orientation and training sessions.
• Match volunteers with appropriate roles and responsibilities.
• Supervise and support volunteers during their service.
• Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours and activities.
• Recognize and appreciate volunteer contributions.
  
• Collaborate with program staff to identify volunteer needs and opportunities.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in volunteer management or coordination.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of volunteers.
• Proficiency in volunteer management software and tools.
