Job Description

For more than 100 years, Advent Christian Village has compassionately served people in the name of Christ. Located on approximately 1,000 acres in north central Florida on the banks of the Historic Suwannee River, we are Florida's first retirement community and are looking to fill a water / wastewater treatment operator position.\
Manage water & wastewater treatment for commercial, domestic, and irrigation\
Manage permitting, installation, repair, usage, & meters\
Manage staff effectively to operate within the mission of Advent Christian Village\
Conduct process control sampling to ensure water quality objectives are consistently met\
Manage biosolids & NMP\
Manage campus-wide irrigation wells & distribution system for approximately 1,000 acres\
Ensure safe work practices and compliance with federal, state, & local regulations\
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience managing a water / wastewater treatment plan required\
Supervisory experience required\
Florida Class C water & wastewater license or greater required\
Valid Florida DL required
