Solution IT Inc. is looking for a WordPress Developer for one of its clients Chicago, IL Hybrid

Job Title: WordPress Developer

Summary

As a WordPress Developer, you will play a crucial role in implementing the vision for our digital products. You will influence a team of engineers, collaborating with cross-functional internal and external teams to design scalable, innovative, and customer-centric web site experiences using WordPress.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on WordPress
• Provide expertise designing and developing websites on WordPress.
• Create new web sites based on these core technologies
  • Wordpress ACF, Wordpress Gutenberg
  • Languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL
  • Frameworks/Libraries: jQuery, React.js, NodeJS
  • Tools & Technologies: Git, RESTful APIs
• Experience in translating designs into seamless, responsive layouts.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications using WordPress CMS and related themes and plugins
• Experience migrating from other CMS to WordPress.
• Experience with WPEngine is preferred.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Advanced degree considered an asset.
• Must have excellent communication skills

Work Site : Chicago, IL Hybrid

Duration: Contract to Hire

Expected Start Date : Immediate - 2 weeks
