As a Yard Driver for our California Buildings District, you will contribute to our team by:
- Reports to work on time, ready to work safely and learn.
- Safely operate flatbed truck.
- Minimum 2 years’ driving experience
- Primary job is to shuttle materials from our Yard to our Project sites.
- Perform Daily inspections and advice supervisor if repairs or maintenance is needed.
- Checking all fluids on a daily basis.
- Greasing equipment per manufactures recommendations.
- Performing required housekeeping in the cab, on the windows and on the exterior of the equipment.
- Operate equipment safely in close proximity to other equipment and crew members
- Recognize risks and hazards on the jobsite and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure equipment is operated safely within its capabilities and limitations.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You Will Bring To The Role - Must be 18 year of age or older
- Must have valid drivers license
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in construction preferred
- Familiar with field concepts, practices and procedures
- High regard for safety and pride for quality of work
- Self-motivated and team player
- Able to multi-task, show initiative and ask questions as needed
- Able to follow directions to ensure completion of daily tasks
- Have a high degree of flexibility in a changing environment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Strength to perform average lifting of up to 50 pounds, from the ground to above head.
- Should be able to navigate through the worksite on a daily basis
- Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairs. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and under pressure.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

The salary range for this position is between $25-$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
