Position Summary
Lasell University is seeking undergraduate adjunct faculty in the following areas to teach face-to-face courses in the Fall semester of 2024.

Sport Analytics (Monday & Wednesday 8am-9:15am)

Course Description : Analytical techniques and quantitative methods are on the rise in many areas of business. They have increasingly made their way into the sports realm. Skills such as critical thinking, mathematical modeling, statistical analysis using Microsoft excel, predictive analytics and optimization are crucial in the data-centric realm. The class seeks to develop and refine these skills in the business application area of sports.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide instruction for all sessions utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning.

Provide a syllabus and course outline to students that clearly communicates course content and requirements.

Maintain 1 office hour each week on campus. Incorporate Canvas (online learning management system) into the course

Keep accurate and timely records of student progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports (on Canvas)

MBA or other appropriate graduate degree required along with relevant industry experience. Experience using CANVAS LMS and online teaching experience a plus.
