Job Description

Seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician in Bloomington to join my client's team!

The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic team with two other Maintenance Tech's supporting multiple properties across Bloomington for student housing.

Key responsibilities include:

* Completing market-ready apartments and apartment upgrades to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
* Handling both emergency and non-emergency service requests promptly and efficiently.
* Conducting various maintenance activities, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, some HVAC, and general repairs.
* Exhibiting good judgment, discretion, and initiative in resolving maintenance issues and prioritizing tasks.
* Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and residents to coordinate work and ensure smooth operations.
* Completing maintenance requests accurately and following up as necessary to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential or multifamily housing setting
* Valid Driver's License
* Strong knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance repairs
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits:

* Hourly wage ranging from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour with weekly gas stipend
