Minimum Education and Experience:
Doctoral degree in education, psychology, economics, sociology, public policy or another field relating to early care and education.
Proven record of excellence in research and capacity for initiating, maintaining, and enhancing research projects
Strong quantitative skills with advanced statistical knowledge, including capacity to perform statistical programming and data analysis of microdata. Experience with commonly used U.S. microdata (e.g. American Community Surveys, Current Population Surveys). Experience with commonly used statistical software such as Stata, R, SAS , SPSS .
Excellent writing and editing skills with experience writing grant applications
Knowledge of early childhood and/or child care policy and implementation
Excellent communication and organization skills
