Job Description

Cannabis Budtender Location Harrison Township, MI :

The Budtender serves as the face of the dispensary. A successful DACUT budtender is a friendly, compassionate professional who provides product suggestions and guides customers through understanding the products and the process of purchasing cannabis products. They must deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through quality customer service, excellent sales service, and cannabis education. They are required to follow strict cash control and inventory policies to ensure complete compliance with state and local laws. The Budtender must meet company sales goals and receive high-rating customer reviews by exceeding customers' expectations.

**Open availability is REQUIRED**

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and acknowledge each customer as they enter and/or exit in a friendly, welcoming manner
  • Always maintain proper cash handling and inventory management procedures
  • Provide an excellent customer experience by listening and responding to needs
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality are required
  • A professional and clean appearance is always required
  • Knowledgeable on all cannabis products carried by DACUT
  • Read industry publications to keep up to date on trends
  • Must attend all scheduled meetings, staff events, outings and promotional events
  • Knowledgeable on cannabinoids, terpenes, and methods of cannabis consumption as it relates to the sale of cannabis products
  • Assist with daily retail operations such as running side work, stocking and cleaning
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and able to lift up-to 25 pounds repeatedly
  • Positive, can-do attitude, solution-based thinker, organized and results driven
  • Remain familiar with industry compliance requirements as applicable to retail operations
  • Inform management if any product inventory is running low
  • Ensure opening and closing duties are completed every shift
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned by any supervisor or manager
  • Ability to work on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

1-2+ years experience in a retail or restaurant setting High School Diploma Must be 21 years or older Must be able pass a criminal background check Budtending experience preferred Knowledge of marijuana strains, edibles, extracts and other current products on the market Excellent customer service and sales skills Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, must be comfortable talking to all customers Stress Management/Composure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16-17/hour + tips
