Job Description

Company in Delaware in need of Machine Operators ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE. Tour/interview on Fridays and orientations on Mondays.

• Operate and monitor machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Set up machines according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to assemble and fabricate products.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
• Ensure machines are running smoothly and adjust as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to lift overhead on a regular basis 30 lbs. Sizing of materials are awkward . Ex: 125”L x 60 W flat panels – lifting over your head.

Schedule:

• 1st shift (Monday - Friday) 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, overtime would be Saturday 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
• 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday) 4:00 pm - 2:30 am, overtime would be working Friday 4:00 pm -2:30 am
• 3rd shift (Monday - Friday) 7:30 pm - 6:00 am, If overtime is scheduled hours would be Sunday night (9:30 pm - 6:00 am) Training will be on 1st shift for 2-3 weeks. You must also be able to work Saturday's while on 1st shift.

Must be able to work overtime, this is mandatory.
