Description In this role, you will design and implement Okta in a federal organization. You will work closely with your Agile delivery team to refine and meet AM requirements for the overall solution and to provide authentication to specific applications. Then, you will develop, test, and deploy Okta functionality.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with your team to define and meet system requirements
- Develop and implement processes to: Onboard new applications for authentication through standard protocols, Create application-specific security policies to secure authentication, Bring user identities into Okta from one or more sources
- Develop an overall change enablement strategy for system roll-out
- Implement security policies, standards, and procedures related to Okta
Requirements
A current Public Trust security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. Four (4) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Required skills:
- Okta functionality and implementation principles
- Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML)
- OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
- Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs
- Okta FastPass
- At least one major cloud service provider (CSP): AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- IAM's place in a zero-trust security architecture
- Agile development methodologies
Desired skills:
- Experience integrating an authentication solution with Login.gov
- Possession of a technical certification for an authentication solution, such as Okta Certified Consultant, Microsoft SC-300, etc.
- Possession of an industry-standard cybersecurity certification, such as CompTIA Security+ or (ISC)2 SSCP
- Experience working in or with the US federal government
