We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, maintaining, and verifying accurate data into our systems.
This position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure the integrity of our database is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Input, update, and maintain accurate data into computer systems and databases.
Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
Verify data for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information, and correct as needed.
Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy files for data retrieval and archiving purposes.
Assist in data validation processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.
Generate reports and analyze data as needed to support business operations.
Collaborate with team members to address data-related issues and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Follow data entry procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with data security and confidentiality policies.
Provide support for data entry-related tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or similar role.
Proficient in data entry and management software, such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and database systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills to convey data-related information clearly and effectively.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or related fields are a plus.
Familiarity with data protection policies and confidentiality practices.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
