Job Description

As an Ecommerce Specialist at Extra Mile Ecommerce, you will play a critical role in expanding our sports and games ecommerce portfolio. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure our ecommerce strategies are effectively implemented, our websites are optimized for performance, and our customers receive top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Concept Development: Create detailed plans for new website concepts in the sports and games niche. Collaborate closely with our Shopify Designers to ensure the designs align with the plan and oversee project management.
  • Supplier and Manufacturer Relations: Identify and establish relationships with manufacturers for new product concepts. Negotiate pricing, delivery times, and terms to ensure the best deals for our company.
  • Vendor Management: Work with our vendors and manufacturers to ensure exceptional service for our customers and the quickest possible shipping times.
  • SEO and Content Marketing: Develop and implement effective SEO strategies and content marketing plans to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  • Advertising Management: Oversee advertising budgets, identify new advertising platforms, and optimize existing campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Social Media Collaboration: Partner with the social media team to promote our websites and engage with our online community.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly team meetings with the head of marketing, head of sales, and head of ecommerce to strategize, plan new sites, and discuss ongoing projects.
  • Website Maintenance: Continuously maintain and revise current websites to enhance user experience, improve functionality, and increase conversions.
  • Site Launch: Manage the launch of new websites by setting them up on Google Merchant Center, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and GoHighLevel CRM.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor website performance metrics, analyze data, and provide insights to inform decision-making and improve site performance.
  • Customer Support Oversight: Ensure that our customer support team has the necessary tools and information to deliver excellent service.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Experience with Shopify, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Passion for sports and games.

Expected Outcomes

  • Set up 5 new quality vendors per week. (250/yr)
  • Create 1 new concept per week for our Shopify Designer team.(50/yr)
  • Launch 1 new site per week integrating with the proper channels. (50/yr)
