We are seeking an Editorial Designer to join our Ramsey Education sector. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing, high-quality print materials for our educational curriculum to provide life changing education to high school students across the United States.

What Winning Looks Like:

• Create visually compelling and sound print layouts for textbooks, workbooks, teacher guides, and other educational materials, ensuring consistency in design and adherence to brand guidelines
• Select appropriate typography, imagery, and other design elements to enhance the educational value and aesthetic appeal of curriculum materials
• Ensure seamless integration of text, graphics, charts, and illustrations into the print layout, maintaining clarity and readability
• Prepare and finalize print-ready files, ensuring accuracy in color, layout, and formatting for production
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, printing techniques, and educational tools to continuously enhance the effectiveness and visual appeal of curriculum materials
• Collaborate with instructional designers, writers, copyeditors, and product managers
• Create documentation to map patterns and guide future work

Skills Needed to Win:

• 5+ years of experience in Adobe InDesign
• 5+ years of in-depth editorial layout design and print experience with catalogs, magazines, book, or curriculum materials
• 3+ years of experience with pre-press and print production processes is essential
• A track record of organizational skills to maintain clarity around assets within an ecosystem
• Experience working in educational publishing or with instructional design teams is a plus

$62,000 - $80,000/year* + profit sharing + benefits
