Job Title: Electrical EstimatorJob Description Join our dynamic electrical contracting company as an Electrical Estimator focused on residential and public works projects. Based in Woodland Hills, CA, this full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a family-oriented, team-driven environment while contributing to a growing business. Responsibilities + Serve as an Estimator/Project Coordinator on select projects, particularly public works. + Coordinate with foremen and manage RFIs, change orders, and SOVs. + Draft and update construction plans using AutoCAD or similar tools. + Assist with estimating for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing projects, including take-offs. + Prepare and manage billing based on line-item SOVs for public works. + Communicate effectively with agencies and clients. + Support commercial and residential teams as required. + Maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with public work standards. Essential Skills + 3 years of experience in construction estimating. + Proficiency in electrical estimating and construction bidding. + Experience with estimating software and electrical circuits. + Strong understanding of public works processes, including RFIs and change orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in residential and public electrical work, including meters and single-line diagrams. + Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction drafting preferred. + Excellent communication and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively. + Local to LA or Rancho Cucamonga area, with availability for weekly site visits. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr. Company does not cover benefits at this time.
