**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a contract position in Roxbury, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including monitoring and operating dialysis equipment, preparing patients for dialysis, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the treatment process.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare dialysis equipment and supplies before treatment.
- Monitor patients during dialysis treatment, including vital signs and response to treatment.
- Assist with cannulation and decannulation of patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide patient education on dialysis and kidney disease management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

**Required Skills:**
- Proven experience as a Dialysis PCT.
- Proficiency in operating dialysis equipment.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification as a Dialysis Technician (CCHT or BONENT preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a Dialysis PCT.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
