Job Description

Responsible for embalming and/or preparation of the decedents for funeral services as well as burials or cremations. Embalmers attend to the sanitation, presentation, and preservation of the deceased. Also it is the responsibility of the Embalmer to provide a high quality of service, to maintain accurate track of information and/or records of the deceased and ensure that the presentation of the deceased is to the satisfaction of or as requested by the family.

Verify identification of decedent; evaluate and monitor decedents condition on a daily basis.

Ensure proper embalming authorization is received and on file.
