The Employee Health (EH) Specialist/Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) Officer endeavors to promote health and safety to all employees by facilitating the Employee Health (EH) program and supporting the infection control program which includes, but is not limited to, disease detection, prevention and treatment; follow-up on employee illnesses and injuries; conducting employee health screenings; Work Comp case consultation and promoting a safe work environment. The EH/OSHA Officer monitors federal and state regulations for employee health and safety; to interpret the regulations to management, including OSHA-compliant Accident Prevention Program for all employees; to monitor and deliver regular periodic reports of organizational compliance, including all levels of employees (staff and management personnel) to monitor and recommend education strategies. The EH Specialist/OHSA Officer reports to the Director of Human Resources. This position is salaried, exempt.
