Kava Luv is looking for the newest member of our growing company!

We are seeking a creative and organized Event Manager to join our team at our kava bars in Naples, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing a diverse range of events, from weekly gatherings to holiday celebrations. This role involves not only planning and overseeing events but also creating engaging marketing materials and promoting events through various channels to maximize attendance. The Event Manager will collaborate closely with bar managers to ensure seamless event execution and provide regular updates and reports. Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Development-

• Conceptualize and develop a variety of events that align with the kava bar's brand and customer interests.
• Plan events for regular weekly occurrences, holidays, and special occasions.

Marketing and Promotion-

• Create physical marketing materials (flyers, posters, brochures) and digital content (social media posts, email newsletters) to promote events.
• Utilize social media, email campaigns, and local advertising to maximize event attendance.
• Collaborate with local influencers, community groups, and other businesses to boost event visibility.

Execution and Logistics-

• Coordinate with bar managers to ensure all logistical needs for events are met (e.g., staffing, supplies, setup).
• Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Manage event budgets and track expenditures to stay within financial constraints.

Customer Engagement and Feedback-

• Engage with customers before, during, and after events to build relationships and gather feedback.
• Analyze feedback to improve future events and address any issues that arise.

Reporting and Communication-

• Regularly update bar managers and owners on upcoming events, requirements, and any potential issues.
• Provide post-event reports detailing attendance, customer feedback, and financial performance.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of proven experience in event planning and management.
• Strong marketing and promotional skills, with experience in social media management and content creation.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in graphic design software and marketing tools.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for community engagement and a strong understanding of kava bar culture.
• Local knowledge of Naples, Florida, and existing community connections are a plus.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Base salary of $20,000 per year (negotiable)
• Bonus incentive of 20% of sales during events that exceed average sales for that night.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
