Job Details:

• We're looking for an enthusiastic, intelligent, and EXPERIENCED SPA MANAGER to join our family at Martha Soffer's internationally-renowned Ayuverdic Surya Spa, in our Kelly Wearstler-designed location in Santa Monica Proper Hotel.
• Knowledge of Ayurveda is not needed, but SPA MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE is essential. 
• You must also have a strong desire to help people and to become immersed in the world of Surya, from the all-natural products to the transformative treatments, and in the world of Ayurveda, as well.
• Prior spa or SIMILAR management operations experience IS required, including experience in staff scheduling, conflict resolution, payroll, HR, and customer service. Software savvy is essential.
• You must ensure customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and promptly resolving any issues. Serve as the liaison between reception, massage therapists, product production and upper management. Handle day to day operations of the spa and successfully address operational issues. Foster a positive and productive work environment and keep a wonderful team's morale high. Improve spa protocols and procedures. Manage the spa supplies, products, and equipment inventory, maintain adequate stock levels, and order new supplies as necessary. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the spa. Conduct ongoing one on ones and monthly staff meetings. Create massage therapist and reception team schedules, handle time off requests and callouts, etc. Ensure payroll accuracy and time clock corrections. Ensure a seamless, 5-star experience for all of our guests, some of whom are A-list celebrities and other notable VIPs.
