Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fixed Term Jr. UAS Pilot to join our team in Houston, Texas, for a limited duration from October 30, 2023, to December 6, 2023 . Although this is a Houston based position, candidates can expect to be deployed for a portion of the term, and in Houston for part of the term. As a Jr. UAS Pilot, you will work closely with our experienced UAS Pilots to assist in various aspects of navigation, operations, and data management during this critical period.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist UAS Pilots in pre-flight checks and preparations.
- Operate UAS under the supervision of experienced pilots during data collection missions.
- Monitor UAS performance and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in data collection, including capturing images, videos, and other relevant data.
- Assist with data management, storage, and organization.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines for UAS operations.
Working Conditions
- This position is a fixed-term contract lasting from October 30, 2023, to December 6, 2023 .
- You will work both indoors and outdoors, potentially in varying weather conditions.
- Some travel may be required for project assignments.

Requirements
- Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required).
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass DOT Drug and Alcohol Screening (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Interest in and basic knowledge of unmanned aerial systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving technology and procedures.
