The ideal candidate will be trained and gain experience in medical anatomy and terminology, ICD 10 CM, HCPCS, CPT, HIPAA, and how to handle health insurance form CMS-1500. Key responsibilities:
Learning and mastering medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
Understanding insurance policies and claims procedures
Accurately translating medical procedures into appropriate codes
Ensuring compliance with coding regulations and standards
Collaborating with healthcare providers to resolve billing issues

*This is a first come, first served position. Individuals without any medical experience are encouraged to apply. Dislocated workers, someone who was laid off to no fault of their own are encouraged to apply. We will train you in the field of medical billing to work as a medical billing clerk. A certificate will be given after completion of the training program. All individuals are required to complete orientation on-site, with no exceptions. However, training can be completed virtually.
