Job Description

We are a well-established business with multiple studio locations and are looking to hire a full time experienced Portrait Photographer to work at our Austin, TX location. Our luxury portrait studio provides our clients with a unique and high-end experience and our successful candidate will be a key part of ensuring that clients have a pleasant and memorable experience. The shift will be 3.5 days per week, Thursday through Sunday.

Note: The ideal candidate must be good with working with people of all ages and with pets throughout the duration of the session as we photograph families, children/babies, and pets within our studios.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of our luxury experiences
• Greet clients when they arrive for their magical adventure
• Correctly pose and position clients while ensuring the correct lighting for each pose.
• Capture photos, save photos, and setup premiers for clients.
• Keep the studio, dressing rooms, and reception area clean so that each guest has a consistent and pleasant experience.
• Put away dresses, costumes, and any accessories after each session to help maintain their integrity.
• Must be flexible in working collaboratively with coworkers and independently.
• Must be able to have constructive conversations in order to achieve company goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Minimum High School diploma /GED required.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in photography.
• High-energy personality and strong emotional intelligence.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Must be able to come to work in a well organized manner.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
• Must be proficient with MacOS.
• Must be able to HAVE FUN with children and pets (dogs, cats, etc.) and remain well focused & professional.

Pay: $20- $23/hour (depending on experience)
