Job Description

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Sardis Forest neighborhood of South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 6-month-old daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (30 hours).

The best nanny for this family would be caring, reliable, timely, engaging, active, and experienced in caring for infants. Creating a daily sleep routine is important to the family, with flexibility around nap times until a consistent schedule is achieved. As the baby begins solids, the nanny will help introduce new foods and prepare homemade baby food. Each day, the nanny will support the infant's development through tummy time, crawling practice, music play, reading, strolls in the neighborhood, and active floor time. The family is looking for someone who enjoys singing and playing music, is interactive and attentive, and can gradually expand responsibilities to include outings as trust grows. During naps, the nanny will assist with the light household tasks listed below. With mom working from home in a dedicated office, the ideal candidate will be a dependable, long-term fit who can grow with the family and provide peace of mind.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep, preparing bottles, and making homemade baby food

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the child

• Picking up after the nanny and the child throughout the day

• Emptying the diaper pail

Pets: The family has a boxer pitbull mix; the nanny will have no pet responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts ASAP

• Legal pay is offered at $25 an hour, depending on experience
