Job Description

Highly experienced Unreal Engine 5 Developer/Technician for real-time green screen Virtual Productions.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement real-time green screen/3D projects for virtual production using Unreal Engine 5.
• Work closely with directors, cinematographers, and other department leads to understand and achieve the project vision.
• Optimize real-time graphics/ 3D Fantasy Worlds and place live actors in real-time green screen for high performance live streaming and visual fidelity.
• Record live green screen action (with actors) using green screen VFX and Unreal Engine 5
• Communicate effectively with all staff. Interact appropriately with all computer systems, audio, video and lighting production equipment as necessary.

Certifications/Registrations:

Unreal Game Engine software 3D Environment creation and preparation Animation skills using Maya or Blender Skilled with Adobe Creative Cloud software OR Experience with Film production workflows Grip and Lighting

Computer Skills:

Must have proven experience in a field that relates to “Virtual Production” such as Film, Digital Cinematography, Game Art, Game Design, Green Screen VFX or Computer Animation. Experience in information technology (IT), information management technology or computer science is preferred, but not required. Some proficiency using video editing software programs: Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve is preferred but not required.

Production Environmental Factors/Physical Requirements:

Bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds. Should be used to "production level" physical work that may include lifting of equipment such as lighting, camera and grip gear. Work possibly performed in a studio, on location or live event production facility.
