A top ranked health system in North Carolina is eager to welcome a seasoned full-time, permanent Hospital Cardiac Sonographer to join their outpatient team!

Receiving system-wide Magnet Designation, the Hospital Cardiac Sonographer will work for a prestigious health system that strives to deliver quality care to patients throughout North Carolina. With multiple hospitals, medical centers, outpatient facilities, and physician practices, this health network offers a full spectrum of services. TheHospital Cardiac Sonographer will work out of the flagship non-profit hospital located in the heart of North Carolina, primarily caring for patients in their outpatient setting.  This state-of-the-art healthcare organization utilizes the most advanced technology and techniques, and is known for their comprehensive trauma center, emergency department, pediatric care, women’s services, and surgical services team. 

The Hospital Cardiac Sonographer will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, specializing in cardiovascular imaging, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular conditions. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about advancing cardiovascular health.

Responsibilities of the Hospital Cardiovascular Sonographer include performing comprehensive echocardiograms, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms, conducting vascular studies, such as arterial and venous duplex ultrasound examinations, along with documenting and managing patient records accurately. The Hospital Cardiovascular Sonographer will also prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to interpret and discuss findings, and adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care.

Ideally the Hospital Cardiac Sonographer will have previous cardiac sonographer experience in either an inpatient or outpatient setting, and be ARDMS or CCI certified.
