Job Title: Hospital Sales Rep

Department: Sales

Reports To: Sales Manager

Summary:

On behalf of our valued client, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospital Sales Rep to join their expanding team. As a Hospital Sales Rep, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding market reach for their innovative pain management products within the hospital and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) sector. Your responsibilities will encompass building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and Pharma guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead sales initiatives to achieve or exceed established targets within your assigned territory
  • Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers at hospitals and ASCs
  • Devise and implement strategically targeted account-specific business plans
  • Conduct in-services for surgeons and clinical staff on the safe and efficacious use of our products
  • Actively participate in training sessions on new product information and sales techniques
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our products, relevant disease states, and competitor offerings
  • Adhere strictly to all applicable regulations and Pharma guidelines
  • Efficiently complete assigned administrative tasks, including customer records management

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is mandatory
  • Minimum three (3) years of pharmaceutical hospital sales or account management experience, with at least 2-3 years in the designated geography
  • A proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with pharmacists and surgeons across multiple specialties
  • Demonstrated aptitude for business analysis, market dynamics, and strategic planning
  • Hands-on experience working alongside physicians and staff in an operating room setting
  • Established expertise in navigating hospital pharmacy processes and securing formulary placement
  • Proven ability to secure product inclusion in protocols and standing orders and drive overall pull-through
  • Adept at eliciting valuable insights from stakeholders through strategic questioning techniques
  • In-depth understanding of crafting compelling value propositions for our products and effectively differentiating them from competitors
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and problem-solving prowess
