Job Description

This class supports library services staff in photographing and editing digital images of special collections materials, including objects from the Catonsville Historical Society collection. Positions available on the Catonsville campus.High School diploma or GED, and one (1) year of prior experience in photography education

1. Photograph collection objects that vary in size and material.
2. Organize digital files and folders of images.
3. Edit digital images using editing software.
4. Handle archival objects with care while photographing and during retrieval and return to storage.
5. Curate photographic submissions for use in department newsletters and social media.
6. Seek assistance from supervisor for issues when required.
