The Opportunity
Were seeking a Mid to Senior Level Associate to join one of our esteemed clients in their Labor & Employment Department in California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex employment law matters involving both litigation and advice and counseling with a particular focus on California employment laws and regulations.

What Youll Do

  • Litigate Employment Law Cases : Represent employers in matters involving discrimination retaliation harassment wrongful discharge wage and hour disputes and class actions.
  • Advise and Counsel Clients : Provide strategic advice to employers on compliance with California employment laws and other workplace issues.
  • Draft and Advocate : Prepare and review legal documents pleadings and motions while building compelling legal arguments.
  • Collaborate and Build : Contribute to the growth of a nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice working alongside a team of dedicated professionals.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience :
    • At least five years of experience representing employers in employment law matters with two years specific to California.
    • Strong background in wage and hour law discrimination retaliation harassment wrongful discharge actions and class action litigation.
  • Education : J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Bar Admission : Admission to the California Bar is required.
  • Skills :
    • Superb writing drafting and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to manage complex litigation and provide sound legal advice.
  • Mindset : Ambition drive and a teamoriented approach to client service and practice development.

Your Skillset

  • Employment Law Expertise : Comprehensive knowledge of Californiaspecific employment laws and regulations.
  • Litigation Experience : Strong track record of handling complex litigation including wage and hour disputes and class actions.
  • ClientCentered Approach : Commitment to delivering exceptional legal solutions tailored to employer needs.
  • Collaboration & Leadership : Ability to work effectively within a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of a national practice.
