Machine Operator

$22-$26/hr - based on experience
1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm (M-F)
3rd Shift:  11pm-7:30am (M-F) -  1$ per hour on top of first shift machining rates (this individual would need to train with first shift for first 4-8 weeks pending on experience/skillset

SUMMARY : Plans and lays out complex machining operations; fabricates and assembles various types and sizes of product parts, tooling, and assemblies; performs jig, fixture, tool, and die work.

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual, numerically controlled, and computerized machinery for precise machining on diverse materials.

• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and verbal instructions for accurate machining operations.

• Ensure quality by selecting appropriate cutting tools and maintaining dimensional tolerances.

• Utilize precision measuring instruments and maintain adherence to safety regulations.

• Operate manual drill press, Bridgeport mill, CNC saw, and other machinery.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Two to four years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in using measuring tools and cutting instruments.

• Strong understanding of blueprints and routers.

• Excellent communication and basic math skills.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to stand, walk, and handle equipment.
