Seeking proficient Manufacturing Project and Test Engineers with a strong foundation in engineering principles, keen on advancing manufacturing and testing projects.
Ideal Candidates:
- Possess an engineering degree complemented by skills in Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Test Rig, Capital Project Management Experience.
- Experienced in Valve, HVAC and Pneumatic component selection, Manage Projects in order enhancing both efficiency and product quality.
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
- Generate and refine process work instructions tailored for manufacturing needs, emphasizing commissioning test rigs including proof/leakage and pressure drop.
- Collaborate closely with shop floor personnel to validate leaks and pressure drops.
- Utilize Project Software, preferably Visio or Project, to update and develop project plans to manage procurement, installation, and commissioning of test rigs, incorporate best practices in Test Rig processes.
- Engage in regular communication with the Lead Engineer regarding daily assignments, and actively participate in daily meetings as required.
Core Qualifications:
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent & relevant work experience.
- 1-5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with aerospace industry background with Test Rig experience.
- Proficient in project management software, ideally Viso or MS Project, with a focus on managing procurement, installation, and commissioning.
- Experience with LabView programming is highly desirable.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US: US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
Desired Skills (Not Mandatory):
* Familiarity with SAP, Team Center, Solumina, and DIOS is beneficial but not required.
