PetDocks Veterinary Hospital, located in the stunning Crystal Coast of Morehead City, NC, is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead our team. This role is perfect for a seasoned veterinarian who thrives in surgery and enjoys mentoring the next generation of veterinarians.
About the Position: As Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing our diverse caseload, which includes ER surgeries, foreign bodies, splenectomies, bloats, mass removals, cystotomies, Perineal Urethrostomies, diabetic patients, and blocked pets. Experience with exotics is a plus but not required. You’ll also provide mentorship and guidance to two newly graduated doctors, offering assistance in surgery, medical decision-making, and controlled substances protocols.
